This website is operated by SHANNON LLC. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SHANNON LLC. SHANNON LLC offers this website, including all information, tools, and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated herein. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), including any additional terms referenced herein or available by hyperlink.
By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. SHANNON LLC reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to our website. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.
1. Intellectual Property & Design Rights
1.1 Ownership and Use of Custom Designs
By commissioning custom jewelry from SHANNON LLC, you acknowledge and agree that all custom designs, sketches, and final products created by us are the sole property of SHANNON LLC. Notwithstanding any representations to the contrary, SHANNON LLC retains all intellectual property rights in and to the designs.
1.2 License to Use and Modify
You hereby grant SHANNON LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, and royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display the design, in whole or in part, for any purpose, including marketing, portfolio displays, or further product development, without any additional compensation or approval required from you.
1.3 Production and Delivery Timeline
While SHANNON LLC endeavors to complete and deliver your custom jewelry piece within a reasonable timeframe, production and shipping times are estimates only. Time shall not be considered of the essence in this agreement.
1.4 No Liability for Delays or Missed Dates
In the event that the custom piece does not arrive on the estimated delivery date, or if additional time is needed to complete the piece, SHANNON LLC shall not be held liable for any consequential damages, losses, or missed events (including but not limited to vacations, proposals, or other important dates) resulting from such delays. It is the customer’s responsibility to account for potential delays when planning any time-sensitive events.
2. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
2.1 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement, shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed arbitration service (e.g., the American Arbitration Association) under its rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Orem, Utah, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
2.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah and the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Utah County, Utah, and the parties hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
3. Return & Refund Policy Clarifications
3.1 Non-Refundable Custom Orders
All custom orders are non-refundable. In the event that you identify a manufacturing defect upon receipt of your jewelry, SHANNON LLC will, at its sole discretion, determine if the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect. If it does, you may be offered a repair, replacement, or partial refund. Any claims for defects unrelated to manufacturing (e.g., wear and tear, accidental damage) will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
3.2 Defective Product Claims
If a manufacturing defect is identified, SHANNON LLC reserves the right to inspect the item and request photographic or written evidence of the defect before offering any remedy. This process is designed to ensure that claims are handled fairly and accurately.
4. Liability for Incorrect Customer Information
4.1 Accuracy of Provided Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order, including but not limited to size, design specifications, and shipping address. SHANNON LLC is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided by you.
4.2 Costs Arising from Incorrect Information
If any delays or additional costs result from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you, you will be solely responsible for any adjustments, rework, or re-shipping fees incurred by SHANNON LLC.
5. Insurance & Risk of Loss After Delivery
5.1 Insurance During Transit
While SHANNON LLC ensures that all shipments are fully insured for their retail replacement value during transit, liability for loss, theft, or damage transfers to you once the package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.
5.2 Post-Delivery Claims
Any claims regarding loss, theft, or damage occurring after the package has been delivered must be filed directly with the shipping carrier or the insurer. SHANNON LLC will not be held liable for any issues that arise once the item has been delivered and accepted by you.
6. Force Majeure
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, government regulations or restrictions, labor disputes, or any other events that could not have been reasonably anticipated or prevented. In the event of a force majeure event, both parties shall make reasonable efforts to mitigate its effects and resume performance as soon as possible.
7. Customer Responsibilities for Jewelry Care
7.1 Proper Care and Maintenance
The lifetime warranty provided by SHANNON LLC covers only manufacturing defects and does not extend to damage resulting from improper care, misuse, or accidental damage. It is your responsibility to ensure that you follow the provided care instructions.
7.2 Exclusions from Warranty
Damage resulting from everyday wear, exposure to harsh chemicals, physical impact, or use during strenuous activities (e.g., sports, heavy labor) is not covered under the warranty. In the event that the item is damaged due to improper care or misuse, you will be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement.
8. Privacy Policy & Data Protection
8.1 Collection and Use of Personal Data
SHANNON LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal data collected (including, but not limited to, your name, address, email, and payment details) is used solely for processing your orders and providing customer service. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties except as necessary to fulfill your order (e.g., sharing your shipping address with our trusted courier partners).
8.2 Data Protection and Compliance
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR and CCPA, where relevant. For further details, please review our Privacy Policy, which outlines our practices in full. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Additional Provisions (Warranty & Exclusive Remedies)
Lifetime Warranty
Take peace of mind knowing that your purchase from SHANNON includes a complimentary lifetime warranty guaranteeing the high quality of your engagement ring or wedding band. This warranty covers any costs incurred due to defects in the craftsmanship or materials of the ring (e.g., porosity, cracks or inclusions in the metal, improperly cut diamond seats, loose stones, etc.). Please note that this warranty does not cover required repairs resulting from everyday wear and tear (i.e., re-tipping, re-shanking, resizing, etc.).
As you wear your ring throughout the years, natural wearing of the metal may occur, which can leave your gemstones vulnerable. We recommend getting your ring cleaned and inspected every 6 months to catch and fix any issues early on. As part of your warranty, we will gladly clean and inspect your ring every 6 months for free. We recommend safely shipping your ring to us in an insured package or getting it serviced by a member of the American Gemological Society local to you. Please note that this warranty is void if any work or repairs are performed by a company or goldsmith not employed by SHANNON.
Once work becomes necessary on your ring, you may bring it to us in person or mail it to us in an insured package. As stated above, if the work required is due to defects in our craftsmanship or materials, we will complete the work free of charge. Otherwise, any necessary repairs will be completed at our regular price. The Buyer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to replacement, repair, or credit at SHANNON.

Exclusive Remedy and Limitation of Liability
Your exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited, at SHANNON’s sole discretion, to the repair, replacement, or credit for the defective ring. This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy available to you for any defects or deficiencies in the ring, and no other claims or damages of any kind shall be recoverable.
In no event shall SHANNON be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from any breach of this warranty, including but not limited to loss of use or diminution in value. Additionally, any modifications or repairs performed by an unauthorized third party may void this warranty. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
All warranty claims must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided by SHANNON. By accepting this warranty, you acknowledge and agree that the exclusive remedy and limitation of liability set forth above are your sole rights and remedies under this warranty.
